This Program is designed to promote the interest of our students in Biomedical Research careers, strengthen students' research competence, prepare the participating students for graduate school, and enhance the capability of the faculty for participation in Biomedical Research.
“ I am a first year student of the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao and part of the NIH-RISE program. As freshmen I attended the NCUR 2011 conference. It was a delightful experience because I had the opportunity to present the project that I am working with my research team, acquired knowledge in others areas and finally it increased my interest in graduate research.”
