Occupational Therapy
is a health profession which forms part of an
interdisciplinary team, whose principal function
is to contribute to prevention, maintenance, and
the bio-, psychosocial-spiritual rehabilitation
of the individual. The Occupational Therapy professional provides services to individuals
who have suffered physical dysfunction,
developmental problems, mental illness, or
social problems.

facilitate the individual’s occupational
performance and promote a state of general
