The Mission of the
University of Puerto Rico at Humacao's Ronald E. McNair
Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program is to help increase the
number of first generation, low income and/or
underrepresented minorities enrolling in graduate school
programs to obtain doctoral degrees.
|
|
Our goal is to increase the
participation of the Humacao's Region first generation and low
income or underrepresented minorities at the Ph.D. level in
graduate schools.

Wilfredo Falcón-Linero, graduate student
of Biology at UPR-Rio Piedras and McNair alumnus from UPRH was
recognized for his research service at the US Antarctica
Research Base in September 1, 2010. Congrats! |

December 2010, her master's degree in Special Education from The

Milca
Aponte-Román, PhD
Graduated from UPRH in
2003 from the Physics Program, this McNair scholar has
completed her PhD degree in Materials Engineering from
Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ in May 2010. She
is currently working for DuPont in Puerto Rico.
