RESULTS OF THE EMPLOYEE SURVEY
2010

§ 38 EMPLOYERS WERE SURVEYED WITH 100% RESPONSE RATE.

§ 89%(34) OF THE SUPERVISORS INDICATED THAT THE UPRH GRADUATES HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS.

§ 82%(31) OF THE SUPERVISORS INCATED THAT THE UPRH GRADUATES APPLY ADEQUATELY THE INTERVENTION MODALITIES AND THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES DELEGATED.

§ 92%(35) OF THE SUPERVISORS INCATED THAT THE UPRH GRADUATES ANALIZE THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES WITH SELF-CONFIDENCE AND GOOD JUDGEMENT.

§ 95%(36) OF SUPERVISORS ESPRESSED THAT THE OT ASSISTANTS KNOW THE REGULATIONS AND LAWS THAT REGULATE THE OT PRACTICE.

§ 95%(36) OF THE SUPERVISORS ARE SATISFIED WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF OT ASSISTANTS.

* 79%(30) OF THE SUPERVISORS EXPRESSED THAT THE OT ASSISTANTS’ SALARIES ARE INADEQUATE FOR THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF WORK THEY CARRY OUT.

GRADUATE SURVEY RESULTS
2012

· 17 graduates were surveyed with 100% response rate.

· 14 (93%) from Pediatrics, 0 (0%) Mental Health and 1 (7%) from Physical Health.

· 100% of our graduates expressed that:

ü There are many employment opportunities in OT in Puerto Rico.

ü They know the regulations and hows that regulate the OT practice in Puerto Rico.

ü Are proud of being OT Assistants.

ü Are satisfied with their professional performance OT Assistants.

· 88% of our graduates expressed that:

ü Have the knowledge, skills and attituds for carring our their duties according to their role.

· 82% of our graduates expressed that:

ü Apply adequately intervention modalities and therapeutic activities.

ü Analyze therapeutic activities with self-confidence and good judgement.

27 FROM PHYSICAL HEALTH,11 FROM PEDIATRICS, AND 83 FROM MENTAL HEALTH

§ 99% RECOMMEND OT TO OTHER PEOPLE

§ 100% INDICATED THAT THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATED THE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO CARRY OUT HIS/HER TASKS.

§ 100% INDICATED THAT THE STUDENT APPLIED SAFETY MEASURES WHEN OFFERING INTERVENTION TREATMENT.

§ 99% INDICATED THAT THE STUDENT PERFORMED THE TASKS PROFESSIONALLY AND THAT THE OT SERVICES HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO IMPROVING THEIR HEALTH.
