Occupational Therapy is a health profession which forms part of an interdisciplinary team, whose principal function is to contribute to prevention, maintenance, and the bio-, psychosocial-spiritual rehabilitation of the individual. The Occupational Therapy professional provides services to individuals who have suffered physical dysfunction, developmental problems, mental illness, or social problems.
